Solid Fuel Fired Boiler Systems

The ‘ALTERNATIVE FUELS GROUP ‘of Rasmussen Mechanical Services provides complete Solid Fuel Fired Boiler Plants to utilize wood fuels, such as bark, sawdust, chips, hogged fuel, and other biomass-type fuels.

With the experience of over 200 solid fuel projects as well as over 1000 conventional Boiler Plants, Rasmussen strives to be your Contractor of Choice for all of your steam plant needs.

Systems are provided on a full “Design-Construct” basis from preliminary design thru construction and final commissioning for undivided project responsibility. Utilizing our in-house capability of design engineering, fabrication and field installation crews’ results in projects accomplished successfully and on schedule.

In addition to Biomass Fired Boilers, we provide boiler & combustion systems for other waste and/or specialty fuels including methane & digester gas, waste oils & greases (tallow), natural & propane gas, and all grades of oil.

We are also an ASME Code shop and carry all of the necessary Code Stamps to provide both shop fabrication and field repair of Code Pressure Vessels.
