Mini Split Installation

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completed the installation of a new mini split system to provide dedicated cooling for the new server room located in the building attached to the warehouse.

The indoor head unit was mounted inside the server room, and a wall penetration was completed to route the refrigerant line set and electrical wiring to the outdoor condenser. The outdoor unit was set and connected to the electrical whip and disconnect provided by the customer’s electrician.

The refrigerant line set was installed and connected between the indoor and outdoor units. All wall penetrations were sealed to maintain the integrity of the building envelope. Rasmussen technicians then pulled a vacuum on the line set to verify the system was leak-free before releasing the factory refrigerant charge into the system.

Following installation, the system was started up and operational checks were performed to confirm proper cooling performance and control operation. The mini split is now online and providing reliable temperature control for the new server room. Shoutout to our Fremont Commercial HVAC Repair team!
