When approached by Alcoa, the company was purchasing steam for its production from a local utility provider. Rasmussen Mechanical Services helped them explore new ways to reduce their operating costs, including an alternative method for generating the needed steam supply.
The solution was to design and build a dedicated steam plant that would allow them to operate independently from the local utility provider.
