CRANE-LIFT COIL SWAP

A Daikin rooftop unit at a food manufacturing plant in Ames, needed a new evaporator coil. Instead of replacing the whole unit, we replaced the coil and put the RTU back in service.

Since the unit sits on the roof, we brought in a crane to lift the old coil off the building and set the new one in place. Our Ames commercial HVAC installation crew handled the install during regular weekday hours.

Once the new coil was in, we pressure tested and leak checked the system, evacuated it and recharged it with R-410A. We finished with an operational test to make sure the unit was running properly.
