Chiller Repairs

Rasmussen Mechanical Services performed critical chiller repairs at Bellevue University’s Educational Services Building, addressing major component failures on a Mammoth chiller to restore reliable cooling performance. The scope of work included removing and replacing one condenser fan assembly, two compressors (circuits 1B and 1C), associated contactors, motor protectors, crankcase heaters, and two valve/actuator assemblies. In addition, four RC-4864-HH acid drier cores were installed to protect the system following the compressor replacement. The compressor oil was acid tested and replaced to ensure proper system cleanliness and long-term reliability. A crane was included to safely remove and install both compressors, and additional R-410A refrigerant was added to fully charge the affected circuit. This repair project helps ensure continued chiller operation and dependable comfort control for the university facility. Shoutout to our Bellevue HVAC Repair team for the great work!
