HVAC & Hydronic System Upgrades

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completed a comprehensive HVAC and hydronic system improvement project across Central Community College’s Hastings Campus, focused on enhancing system reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance. The scope of work included replacement of a hot water coil on a McQuay air handling unit in the Dawson Building. Our team also replaced multiple critical circulation pumps, including a B&G e-1510 pump and motor, and a Taco pump end in the Hall Building.

In addition to equipment replacements, Rasmussen performed targeted Riello boiler repairs, addressing pressure and sensing components to support safe and consistent boiler operation. To further improve system performance and proactively reduce wear, our technicians completed precision alignment and vibration analysis on four hot and cold loop recirculation pumps. Vibration data was collected, analyzed, and documented in a detailed report, giving the facilities team clear insight into current conditions and future maintenance needs.
