Facility-Wide HVAC Upgrades
Columbus, NE

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completed a series of HVAC upgrades for the Columbus Housing Authority.
The project included removal of the existing boiler and associated piping in the mechanical room, along with selective removal of fin tube heating throughout the building. Multiple areas received new HVAC equipment to better meet space-specific needs. The meeting room was upgraded with a new air handler and condenser providing natural gas heating and DX cooling. Electric heat was added to the west entry, restrooms, and hallway to improve occupant comfort.
Additional upgrades included replacement of aging equipment in the laundry room and original office space. Existing Modine, American Standard, and Lennox units were removed and replaced with new gas furnaces and condensers. All new installations included required venting and gas piping.
These upgrades provide the Columbus Housing Authority with modern, efficient HVAC systems designed to improve comfort, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Shoutout to our Columbus HVAC Installation and Repair team!
