When a rendering plant in Clinton, Iowa needed steam fast, our Iowa Boiler Rental team delivered. Less than 24 hours after the initial call, we had a 1,000 HP trailer-mounted firetube boiler on-site, set up, and producing steam. This quick turnaround helped the facility avoid major downtime and keep operations moving.
Boiler Specs:
- Size/Type: 1,000 HP firetube, trailer-mounted
- Fuel: Natural gas, 4″ 150# flanged connection
- Operating Pressure: 135 psi (150 psi MAWP)
- Steam Outlet: 6″ 300# flanged, with 8″x6″ ASME reducing spool
- Feedwater: 2″ 300# flanged modulating
- Blowdown: 2″ FIP connection
- Valves: 8″ 300# flanged angle non-return and stop valves
- Relief Valves: Four safety relief valves set at 150 psi, with discharge piping (shipped loose)
- Electrical: 480V / 3-phase / 200 amp, single-point, non-fused disconnect
