Emergency Heating Installation

Rasmussen Mechanical Services received a call from Doane University at 2:00pm on a Thursday letting us know they had need our Lincoln Commerical HVAC Repair team to help. A campus building  that was heated with hot water via a steam heat exchanger had failed. Unfortunately, the heat exchanger parts were 10 days out and the university couldn’t be without heat for that long.

One of our project managers was onsite an hour later to work with the university’s team to create a plan. By 6:00pm that night, the plan to install four new Riello Condexa boilers was put into motion. Four of our fitters and a burner technician worked for 22 hours straight until 4am on Saturday, which allowed them to provide enough heat to the building to make it through the weekend.

Rasmussen Mechanical was able to take the building from "No Heat" to a new boiler room in 36 hours.  (The room in the pictures was empty when we started Friday morning with the exception of the water supply/return mains.)
