Air Handler Replacement

This project includes the replacement of the existing air handler and condenser serving the facility chapel. While the engineer originally noted 5-ton equipment, our evaluation determined that a 7.5-ton system is necessary to properly meet the space’s heating and cooling demands.

The scope of work includes furnishing and installing a new 7.5-ton floor-mounted air handler with hot water heating and DX cooling, utilizing R-454B refrigerant and a constant volume configuration. A matching 7.5-ton condenser will also be installed, complete with a hail/vandal guard kit and service valve accessories.

Work includes demolition and disposal of existing equipment, installation of new hot water and refrigerant piping, electrical power wiring, required ductwork modifications, and crane services for rooftop equipment placement. The new system will be integrated into the Honeywell DDC control platform, followed by full start-up and commissioning to ensure proper performance and reliable operation.
