Boiler & HVAC Replacement

Rasmussen was tasked with the Phase 1 of boiler and hvac replacements at a church in North Platte. Work includes demolition and removal of the existing boiler, pump, basement air handler, rooftop condensers, and all associated piping requiring replacement.

Phase 1 includes the installation of two Lochinvar high-efficiency condensing boilers, rated at 850,000 BTU/hr each, delivering 97% thermal efficiency with 10:1 turndown and stainless steel heat exchangers. New boiler circulation pumps, flow switches, neutralization kits, and related accessories will be furnished and installed.

The project also includes two new base-mounted hydronic pumps installed on pads with an air separator, expansion tank, flex hoses, and triple duty valves. A new 7,000 CFM air handler will be installed in the basement mechanical room, featuring DX and hot water coils, variable speed operation, insulated construction, and required safety controls.

Additional work includes new refrigerant piping, new hydronic piping, insulation, ductwork modifications, Honeywell DDC controls integration for all major equipment, crane services for rooftop work, roofing as needed, and all required electrical power wiring.
