VRF Zone System Installation

Rasmussen was tasked to furnish and install a new Zone VRF heat pump system serving the office area. A zone system allows all office spaces to operate in the same mode, providing the ability to heat or cool throughout the area simultaneously for consistent comfort.

The project includes installation of four wall-mounted fan coil units, one in each office area, connected to a roof-mounted heat pump located above the kitchen. Crane services will be provided for hoisting equipment to and from the rooftop.

Scope also includes installation of insulated ACR copper refrigerant piping, condensate piping using Schedule 40 PVC and poly vinyl tubing, and wired thermostats with wiring routed in wire mold. Exposed refrigerant lines will be protected with line hide covers, and all required electrical power wiring will be completed for the heat pump and fan coil units.
