Plant Expansion

Rasmussen Mechanical Service provided a turn key solution for a major food processing plant in Illinois. We began the project by erecting a new building, pipe rack and catwalk along with a gas fired makeup air unit. We then installed a new 1500 HP Superior boiler in the newly erected building and relocated a 1500 HP Superior boiler from another location at the plant to the new expansion. The new boiler was fit with a new burner and Autoflame controls and the old boiler was retrofit with the same setup. A Heatmizer stack economizer was then installed to help reduce energy waste and an industrial steam deaerator was installed as well. Rasmussen Mechanical managed all subcontractors during the entire process.
