Air Compressor Installation

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completed the installation of a new 15 HP air compressor system to support reliable compressed air demand at this Columbus facility. The project included furnishing and installing a high-efficiency compressor package designed to deliver consistent airflow across varying pressure requirements.

The new system provides 63 CFM at 100 PSI and 58 CFM at 125 PSI, ensuring adequate capacity for operational needs. The compressor is mounted on a 120-gallon air receiver, helping stabilize system pressure, reduce cycling, and improve overall performance. A load/no-load operating configuration was selected to maximize efficiency while maintaining dependable air delivery.

The unit operates on 208V, three-phase (tri-volt) power and was installed with a 3/4-inch discharge connection, allowing for seamless integration into the existing compressed air distribution system. This upgrade improves reliability, supports current production demands, and positions the facility for continued efficient operation. Shoutout to our Columbus Air Compressor team for the great work!
