Rental Boiler

Rasmussen Mechanical Services was contracted to install a portable boiler adjacent to an existing boiler room to ensure uninterrupted steam during a facility project. Our team received and set the boiler in place, assembled all ship-loose components, and tied in steam, feedwater, and natural gas lines from the existing connection points. A blowdown line was also installed and routed to a blowdown tank positioned outside the boiler room. The boiler was opened fireside and waterside for inspection by the State of Nebraska, then sealed and filled for hydrostatic testing under state supervision. Once approved, we completed the startup and commissioning process to bring the boiler fully online.

Upon project completion, our team isolated and disconnected all piping back to the original tie-in points. The boiler system and all related equipment were disassembled, secured for return shipment, and the State of Nebraska was notified of the removal. Transportation was arranged, with the boiler placed on a concrete pad capable of supporting its weight. This turnkey rental installation allowed the facility to maintain operations with minimal downtime while remaining fully compliant with state inspection and safety standards.
