Compressor Room Upgrades

Rasmussen Mechanical Services Grand Island Air Compressor Services team completed a comprehensive upgrade to the Compressor Room at McCain Foods USA in Grand Island, NE. The project included installation of a Gardner Denver LRS160 variable speed air compressor, an XGHP 1200 heated desiccant air dryer with mounted filtration and bypass system, and a 3,000-gallon air receiver. Additional enhancements featured an EPS-approved oil/water separator for condensate treatment, a high-capacity ventilation system with VFD controls, and cross-connected piping for system redundancy. The upgrades were designed for improved efficiency, serviceability, and rental unit integration, ensuring reliable compressed air supply for facility operations.
