Project Details
Rasmussen Mechanical Services was contracted to perform a boiler system upgrade at Meadows on University. The scope of work began with the demolition and removal of one existing 1.3 MBH boiler, while the second existing unit remained in service throughout the project.
In its place, we installed a high-efficiency 1.0 MBH Lochinvar FTXL fire tube boiler. Our team tied the new unit into the existing primary hydronic loop, ensuring that all piping within the loop remained unchanged. The installation included all necessary venting and natural gas connections, with careful attention paid to maintaining system integrity and minimizing disruption to the facility’s operations.
Upon completion, Rasmussen performed a full system startup and commissioning to ensure the new boiler was operating efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The result is a streamlined, energy-efficient heating solution designed to support the comfort and care needs of the facility’s residents. Shoutout to our North Dakota Boiler team for this great work!
