Kewanee Boiler Retube

Rasmussen Mechanical Services was contracted to retube a Kewanee Model HM-880 boiler. The project began with the removal and disposal of all existing boiler tubes. Once removed, accessible areas of the boiler were thoroughly brushed to clear loose scale and debris. New SA-178-A boiler tubes measuring 3" OD x 0.105" MW were installed, rolled, and beaded on both the front and rear tube sheets. Following installation, a pressure test was performed to confirm all tubes were leak-free. The entire scope of work was completed in full compliance with NBIC, ASME, and State Jurisdictional Board requirements. Our Missouri Boiler team did a great job keeping this hospital running!
