Boiler Tuning

Rasmussen Mechanical Services was contracted to perform tuning on three Johnston boilers at the Dakota Ethanol facility following the installation of new stack economizers. The project was scheduled across three separate trips to minimize disruption to plant operations and ensure each boiler was tuned under optimal running conditions.

Our technicians conducted thorough combustion adjustments on each unit, optimizing efficiency and performance with the newly installed economizers. Upon completion of each tuning, combustion tapes and detailed forms were provided to the customer for documentation and compliance records. This project improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and ensured the boilers were operating reliably with their upgraded heat recovery systems.
