Complete Retube - Watertube Boiler

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completely retubed the watertube boiler at Platte Generating Station in Grand Island, NE. This project included: • Removal of outer skin casing, insulation and inner skin casing. • Refractory installation on outside wall tubes and convection wall. • Removal and replacement of baffle plates • Installation of inner skin casing and floor tiles • Boil out services following the retube • Burner tuning and safety device testing.
