Skid-Mounted Rental Boiler

Rasmussen Mechanical Services was contracted to provide and install a rental boiler capable of producing 75,000 lbs/hr of steam. The skid-mounted unit was delivered pre-wired and pre-piped, allowing for fast connection via single-point hookups. Once on-site, the boiler was set, leveled, and all ship-loose items—such as the stack, blower, and relief valves—were assembled.

Our team connected the steam, feedwater, and natural gas lines to existing tie points, including installation of a natural gas regulator to reduce pressure to 25 psi. The boiler was then opened for internal inspection and hydrostatic testing as required by the State of Kansas. After passing inspection, our technicians completed startup and commissioning.

At the end of the rental period, all valves were isolated at the tie points, the boiler was drained to a designated plant-approved location, and all interconnecting piping was removed.
