FOUR 1,000 HP BOILERS

When a new beef processing plant went up in North Platte, we supplied the equipment for its steam plant. That included four 1,000 HP Superior boilers: three that fire natural gas and one that can run on either biogas or natural gas. The package also had a deaerator, a water softener, stack economizers on three boilers to pull heat back out of the exhaust, and a blowdown separator with an aftercooler.

We’ve stayed on as the service team for that boiler room. Since startup we’ve done internal inspections on the boilers, replaced feedwater valves and an economizer relief valve, installed new Autoflame Mk8 controls on Boiler 2, and kept spare parts stocked for the plant.
