Bio-Containment Unit

Rasmussen Mechanical Service was contacted to balance air on rooms with 2 undersized up blast exhaust fans on the UNMC's Bio-Containment Unit. We upgraded old pneumatic controls to all digital controls, upgraded an exhaust fan and re-balanced rooms. We also certified rooms for air changes and isolation pressures. These rooms require a more careful analysis as they are used for disease like Ebola which can spread rapidly if pressures are off.
