HVAC and Controls Maintenance Agreement

Omaha, Nebraska

The Omaha Children's Museum is full of kids every day it's open, so the building has to stay comfortable and the air has to keep moving. Rasmussen Mechanical Services has had the museum's HVAC and building controls on a preventive maintenance agreement since 2021, renewed in 2022, 2024 and again in 2026.

Repairs between visits. Our technicians rebuilt and later replaced the pump on the penthouse air handler, rebuilt the condensate tank pump, and replaced the motor on the generator room air handler. On the fan coil units, they've replaced motors and a control valve and added a relay. They also replaced the actuator on the chilled water valve.

Ventilation. Our crew replaced an exhaust fan and installed two new sidewall exhaust fans, working from a lift alongside an electrical subcontractor. We even grease and inspect the pinwheels on the building.

Fixing it without shutting it down. In October 2026, a heating control valve needed replacing. Two technicians swapped it in a day and a half, using a pipe freezing machine to isolate the line so the heating loop didn't have to be drained.

Shoutout to our Omaha HVAC Maintenance, Omaha HVAC Repair and Temperature Controls teams for keeping the museum running!
